A visual aid developed by Allergan Aesthetics aims to help practitioners improve outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
The app, ‘AMI Education and Consultation’, is free and available for any healthcare professional or aesthetic practitioner via download from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Allergan is well known in the market for its wide range of facial injectables. The app was developed by the Allergan Medical Institute to support healthcare professionals in the delivery of high-calibre patient consultations. It does so by providing a visual aid for the patient via an iPad or tablet, alongside features to enhance the consultation experience, such as details on anatomy and ageing.
The app also allows the practitioner to create a bespoke treatment planner that via email can be reviewed by the patient at-home post-consultation and before treatment.
"At Allergan Aesthetics, our aim is to support our customers to pursue the highest levels of clinical excellence and patient experience to deliver the best outcome,” says the UK and Ireland general manager at Allergan Aesthetics, Djamshid Ghavami. “This new AMI Education and Consultation App is testament to that aim. We hope it will support healthcare professionals during their consultations, allowing healthcare professionals to visually show the facial anatomy to their patient, to give a better understanding of what can be achieved through the treatment, and embed a realistic expectation from their treatment outcomes.”
